Who we are
Sunday Value Inc. ("we") runs www.sundayvalue.ca. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and we collect only what we need to answer you.
What we collect, and why

- Your name and email, and if you add them, your phone, website, topics and message

- You send the contact form

- To reply to you, and to send one email confirming we got your message.

- You ran the free audit, then sent the contact form with "Attach my audit results" ticked

- So we can talk about your results without asking you to run it again.

- You run the free audit

- Our server visits that site's homepage and public files, like robots.txt, to score it. We don't save the address.

- Your IP address
- When
- You send the form or run the audit
- Why
- Held briefly in our server's memory to limit repeated requests and stop spam. It isn't saved to a file or database.
What stays in your browser
- Light or dark mode. Remembered in your own browser (localStorage) when you switch. It's never sent to us.
- Your last audit result. Kept in your browser for this visit (sessionStorage), so the contact form can offer to attach it. It's cleared when you close the tab.
What we don't do
- No tracking cookies, analytics or advertising pixels. If we add any, we'll update this page first.
- No selling, renting or trading your information.
- No mailing lists without asking. After the one confirmation email, we reply to you personally.
Who else handles it
Hostinger hosts this website and our email, so the messages you send us are stored in our Hostinger mailbox. Like most hosts, Hostinger may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to run and secure its service.
Our service providers may store or process information outside Canada, where it can be subject to the laws of those countries, including lawful requests from their authorities.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages as long as we need them to reply, follow up and keep a record of our conversation. You can ask us to delete yours at any time, unless we need to keep something by law, for example records of paid work.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to us contacting you. We'll answer within 30 days.
To ask, and mention privacy. If you're not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Concept sites
The sample business sites in our work section are demos. Their forms, bookings and check-ins run only in your browser and send nothing to anyone.

When anything here changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
